Fact-Checking Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Accuracy is a core value at CoffeeHub. This policy explains how we fact-check our content.

1. Our Commitment

Every factual claim in our articles is verified before publication. We do not publish unverified information, rumors, or speculation.

2. Sources We Trust

We rely on authoritative sources, including:

  • Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) β€” industry standards
  • Manufacturer specs β€” for product details
  • Peer-reviewed studies β€” for health/science claims
  • Reputable publications β€” Barista Magazine, Roast Magazine, etc.
  • Expert interviews β€” baristas, roasters, Q-graders

3. How We Verify

  1. We cite at least 2 independent sources per factual claim
  2. We cross-reference with primary sources when possible
  3. We test products ourselves for gear reviews
  4. We consult subject-matter experts for complex topics
  5. We update content when new information emerges

4. Health-Related Claims

Any claim about coffee's effects on health is:

  • Based on peer-reviewed studies
  • Linked to the original research
  • Presented with appropriate caveats (no medical advice)

5. Product Specifications

For gear reviews, specs are verified against:

  • Manufacturer official product pages
  • User manuals
  • Hands-on testing

6. Corrections

If a fact is wrong, we correct it immediately. Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with a timestamp.

7. Report an Error

Found a mistake? Email us at hello@coffeehub.web.id with the article URL and details. We investigate every report.
